One Leg. One Life.
I want to build a sober, ocean-based community where amputees and allies reconnect with purpose, movement, and Mother Ocean through surfing, body surfing, hand boarding, yoga, and shared experience.
My Journey
I’ve been a surfer, skateboarder, and ocean man my whole life. I believe the water has the power to heal when you meet it with respect and intention.
In 2017, I lost my leg in a car accident in Puerto Rico. Everything changed, but my connection to the ocean stayed strong. What could have been the end became a turning point.
Before the accident, I was fully immersed in surf and skate culture. After it, I learned how to adapt, rebuild, and keep moving forward one leg, one life, one day at a time. Sobriety, the ocean, yoga, and meditation became my anchors and helped keep me grounded through it all.
Today, I show up for amputees and anyone facing life changing challenges with no judgment, ever. Through adaptive surfing, body surfing, hand boarding, water yoga, and time in the ocean, I help people reconnect with their confidence, strength, and sense of purpose.
I lead from lived experience. I understand loss, frustration, and fear, but I also know what is possible on the other side. My message is simple. You are not lost. You are adapting. And you do not have to do it alone.
This is the heart behind The One Legged Movement. Staying sober. Staying stoked. Letting Mother Ocean guide the way.
What I offer
-
This is about showing up, getting in the water, and connecting with yourself, with others, and with the ocean.
From surfing and hand boarding to water yoga and ocean safety, everything is offered in a way that meets you where you’re at. There’s no pressure. This is just space to explore, learn from others, and build confidence in your own time.
It’s a sober, supportive environment where everyone’s experience looks a little different, and that’s exactly how it should be.
-
It’s all about helping kids feel at ease in the ocean and letting them explore, play, and connect with the water in their own way.
Some moments are guided, others are just about giving them space to move, discover, and be themselves. Always with patience, awareness, and care.
-
Dependable, easygoing dog walking with attention to each dog’s routine and needs.
Whether it’s a steady walk, some time to burn energy, or a calm outing, the focus is on keeping things consistent and stress-free for your dog.

and swing by Java Point (Huntington Beach) for a great cup of coffee.
